214270 Bracelet Squeaks

I picked up a new Explorer I 214270 earlier this week and have recently noticed that the bracelet makes a squeaking noise when I move the watch around on my wrist. Is this normal for a Rolex? My Omega and Breitling never made noises and my wifes 114200 is silent. Thoughts?

You’re going to miss that sound in a few weeks. The Rolex squeak. One of the best noises in the world. Completely normal Sir

Enjoy and cherish the squeak. It speaks of brand newness!!! Wear it in good health, even after the band goes silent.

When the squeak stops it’s time to add a new one.

It happens, it will go away sooner or later. My Expll was real tight on the clasp so I used a drop of sewing machine oil and that took care of it right away

I remember that sad day when the squeak stopped and bracelet "relaxed." It would almost hold its own circle because it was so stiff.
