Was in NY over the weekend (Staten Island)

Visiting a relative, went to a few restaurants and was stunned at the amount of Day Dates I noticed men and women wearing. In all seriousness I counted 8 during the course of 8 hours. Relative said they’re a dime a dozen in Staten Island. I always thought of the day date “President” as a rare watch to see in the wild due to its exclusivity and price. It felt good to have on my DaytonaC as I didn’t see any of those

6 of them were probably "fugazi".

Your Daytona-C is a more rare piece than those DDs.

The DD varies so much with the size and dial types that it is always nice to see them.

I used to live in Staten Island before moving to New Jersey and then retiring to Florida. Many people living on Staten Island work in lower Manhattan, in Wall Street and Insurance. Right after I got out of high school I also worked there. That is where I first saw Rolex's and fell in love with Rolex's and my wife.... With that said, Staten Island has a lot of Rolex's... Used to have a AD on New Dorp Lane for years but I hear he was screwing around with them and loss his franchise.

Be Safe JIM

Canal Street Specials. Some of those owners probably don't even realize it.

Get used to seeing those DDs far more often than seeing your DaytonaC!

I’ve lived on Staten Island for the last 24 years. Lots of money on this Island.

These DDs may or may not be authentic.
