HELP PLEASE. Am I doing a fair business ?
Im about to flip my Rolex Datejust ref: 16000 silver steel, and get an Explorer 1 ref: 114270 (36mm. case) adding USD 1900 to get the new piece. Both in excelent conditions.
Appart from the personal taste, do you think the deal is fair or not in economic terms ? Thank you very much indeed for your valuable advices Javier |

The answer is relative.
Any deal that releases a model in which you’ve lost interest - and fetches a model you really want - is worth a few dollars unless it is completely tilted upside down. The older DJ has lost more value than the newer used Expl. I you want. Look at it this way: if you keep the Explorer for a few years, the cash you’re adding into the flip is equivalent to a cup of coffee per day to get what you want.
