Congrats, it looks great. Here's mine on a 2 piece nylon strap.

Nice straps, guys! Where did you get them? I ended up buying a bunch of different options from Barton and will return the ones I don't like. Their NATOs were a bit too bulky to smoothly feed through the spring bars, so those didn't work out, but I do really like their canvas ones. Here are some photos of the gray one, which I think looks the best. I'm also keeping a black one and a green one...

Thanks everyone!

In for strap changing tips and tricks as well...

OP, great choice! I have the same era (Swiss made, holes, SEL) 16570, and couldn't be happier with it!

Enjoy!

I've owned both the non SEL and the SEL Explorer II, you definitely want the SEL. It feels like a completely different watch in terms of build quality and doesn't add any bulk. IMO it feels much better on the wrist.

Just wanted to give you guys an update on this...I ended up pulling the trigger on one! I got a model with lug holes and SELs (see attached photo). I'm really digging the watch, though now my beloved Speedmaster isn't getting any wrist time haha.
Great choice! I love mine and once I got it my Aqua Terra "Skyfall" gets a lot less wrist time

Doesn't help with holes or no holes, but just so you know...

When you get your own 16570, and the sun hits it just right, you can make a perfect rainbow in the dial. No rain needed.

Refraction + white dial = win.Name: IMG_20171011_154547.jpeg

What end links are these? I wanted to get one of those for my 16030 and those look very nice.

I purchased a Y serial with a polar dial from the forums earlier this month and it’s completely taken over my wrist.
