Why Sky Dweller blue and Daytona White?????

Can anybody explain why on earth those Sky Dweller blue and Daytona white are sooo high demanded especially in South East Asia?

Will that blue dial last for a longer time? (compared to "original / basic" white or black or gold dial)

Where can I get those two watches?

There were a few threads some time back saying that then blue dial
SkyD is more harder to obtain than the Daytona. Tbh I agree in some sense because the number of incomings for the Daytona does certainly exceed the number of blue dial Skydwellers. I’ve seen both in the flesh. I can see why they are the hottest Rolexes right now.

Yeah, on paper it doesn't make sense.

But...then again, neither does spending thousands of dollars for something that just basically tells you what time it is.

At those prices I'd want to find a white gold one with a blue dial. Only made in 2017

They are arguably the two most difficult to get pieces from an AD, besides the crazy pieces like rainbow daytona... without an established relationship, getting one of those watches are near impossible.. but if you had to have it immediately, there are many Grey dealers out there selling them with premiums, as mentioned

Actually they are selling at 28-30% premiums over retail. The 116500’s are selling for 60% premiums or so. The highest premium for a SS professional watch is the new BLRO which is more than 100% at the moment.

I saw both in the “Metal” and bought black dial varients. Guess I’m lucky my taste bucks the trend.

I think they are both great watches you just have to see them in person.

I personally like the Skydweller in white. It's a stunner. Only if they had an all brushed bracelet as an option.

I'm lucky to have the white Daytona C and Blue SS Skydweller and I got them both for MSRP. They are great watches.
