Marathon (Rolex #23-9291) spring bars
For a long time these spring bars have been called Marathon bars since they came stock on most of their watches. They are actually Rolex #23-9291 spring bars. Scurfa also uses them, and a few more companies. I have them on most of my Seiko divers that have 20mm drilled lugs.
The only disadvantage about these spring bars is how thick the middle section is (2.0mm). On a Rolex if you have a strap thicker than 1.2mm then they won't fit without a lot of work. I talked to my manufacture and came up with a solution to this issue, that is making them with a middle section that is 1.78mm thick. |
