Quick GMT II Ceramic pre-purchase question

I was in my local AD today making up my mind which Rolex to buy. Finally the GMT II ceramic made the biggest impression on me. It was getting close to 5pm so I didn't have enough time to go to the bank to withdraw the cash.

I'll be heading back tomorrow and pick up the watch. From my understanding I should be looking to get a M serial model (that is the latest one right)?

It could be a Z, M or V (I think V GMTIIc's are out). V is the newest but, since it's a newly released model, they should all be the same.

And evidence suggests that all three series are brand new and still coming off the assembly lines...

depending upon what they have a Z or M - esp. a Z you could argue for more % off since thats the oldest series of the 3 (Z, M, Y)

A clasp code might make more sense to date the watch.

The clasp code only dates the bracelet, not the watch.

I love my GMT II TT C and believe it to be the best of all the Rolexs I've owned.
It's unique and has a feel many just don't equal. The TT has alittle more heft to it also.

If it's not the V series...you better run as it will more than likely fall apart. Seriously...regardless of what serial letter it is (and my money is that it's an 'M') it really doesn't make any difference.

Thanks for the info and replies everyone. It ended up being a M serial. Will post some pictures later on today with some extra goodies the AD gave me in a new thread.
