The multi-millionaire doesn't spend 2 seconds thinking about ordering a $300 bottle of wine with dinner, where as the 'blue-collar' working husband & wife cherish the idea of ordering the same bottle while celebrating on an anniversary dinner. Is it wrong said husband/wife will savor the wine more than the guy that could buy the bottle with every meal if he wanted to? Obviously not...but lets face it...we're all different both in tastes & bank accounts. Cheers! |

When I was looking for a watch in 1982, I visited a dozen jewelers. I fell in love with the Rolex Explorer II 1655. Durn, I'm not going to pay that much for a watch! At the next jewelers, I told the owner that I wanted a watch that I would certainly bang against every doorway I went through. I would wear it 24 hours a day. I would shower and swim with it. And, I wanted to be buried with it. He replied: "Sir, you just described a Rolex, and we do not sell them." I immediately drove to the previous store and bought my Rolex.
And one of my superiors in the Air Force owned a very nice gold Rolex. He wore it exactly once a month. The rest of the days he wore a $7 digital. Chris |
