Vintage Rolex stopping problem
Hello,
Im new here so nice to meet everyone. I bought a vintage Rolex precision 1940's recently and I have a problem. If it is wound then placed on a table it keeps time perfectly. As soon as I put it on my wrist and rotate it it tends to stop then a shake or fast rotation of the wrist starts it again. My plan is to get it serviced immediately but I was just wondering does this problem sounds common or is it quite an unusual thing. Any ideas whats happening to it?. Thanks you in advance for and help/feedback. |

I've never had this problem before, but overhauling the movement should fix it.
