Cellini are dress watches by Rolex. Just about any Rolex is a casual watch, so pick what you like.

As others have said, if you only want it for casual, then Submariner. But if you want to dress up from time to time, Explorer. Just my opinion.

For the 25% of your dressed up time, the submariner is more difficult to fit in than the Explorer. But probably nobody will care 99% of the time.

Other than the Cellini line, they are all really casual watches in the Rolex line. All can be dressed up or down. The question is more about your preferences for looks and function.

Sub is perfect for what you want... my choice would be the SD43 though

SubC date is perfect for casual wear and you can dress it up. It's really the only watch you ever need. The explorer wouldn't be a bad choice, but I much prefer the looks of the Sub.

Thanks for all the responses! I feel better now wearing my sub in my sweat shorts and T-shirt’s.

Out of those 2 specifically, the Sub is more casual. But to be honest all of the oyster case Rolexes can be worn casual. The only dress watches (in the traditional sense) Rolex sells are in the Cellini line.

both would work. the difference is the explorer will be more "under the radar" compared to the sub. get one then get the other one on a later time! there's room for both
