Miami Condo Market
Anyone familiar with the Miami area in particular Brickell? Looking to a Condo for second home use and eventually permanent living. It’s a buyers market but looking for some input on the buildings down there. So far we looked at SLS Brickell, 1010 Brickell and Brickell Heights...any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. My agent is OK but wanted some unbiased opinions...Thank you.

I've heard this as well about Brickell. I think that area is fantastic. I also have been told that north of Miami Beach a place called Sunny Isles is a good place to invest and going up daily.

Love the Brickell area! What a transformation it has undergone over the years. Heard that about Sunny Isles as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Be sure to examine condo documents, finances and budget carefully. Lots of buildings are mismanaged, there is corruption, and assessments in Miami can be huge and come as a surprise.
PS I have a place in north Miami Beach. Sunny Isles is nice but it is a single strip of mega buildings. There is not really a community or neighborhood feel. On the other hand, Aventura, Bal Harbor and Surfside are all really nice communities.

Wait, prices are softening. Personally, i'd revisit in 6 months and reassess the situation.

Good point! That is one of my biggest concerns to be honest. One reason we are trying to focus on some of the newer buildings but even so we will proceed with caution. Thx! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
