Did your AD give you any extra gifts?

I was able to get a brown leather wallet and checkbook holder

Excellent service plus a green and gray polishing cloth, some older brochures, and a pair of Rolex gloves; and good deals.

I have been given a polishing cloth in the past and usually can get the newest catalogs, but I always get a nice discount. I get the occasional call on some of the harder to get models once in a while, I guess I have no complaints. I seriously can't imagine paying MSRP, unless it is a new and hard to find model, but even then I will work out a deal for no tax.

As far as I am concerned, no AD in my area has my loyalty! The can all keep their Rolex's and I will look elsewhere.

Purchased a SS Daytona yesterday. After paying in cash I received a hand shake and a crappy polishing cloth. I felt violated, but I really wanted the watch.

My AD (The Hour Glass in Singapore) has treated me very well - I've received a Rolex organiser, diaries, leather pouches, polishing cloths, magazines and when I bought an Omega Speedmaster, I was given a book called Time in a Capsule, which relates the history of the Moon watch. Then again, I've bought five Rolexes from them over the years...

Nothing at the time of the sale but i just received a lovely large Rolex 2009 calendar featuring some stunningly scenic shots of the Swiss countryside.

I was even more impressed when i read "Made in Switzerland" on the calendar itself. Beats "Made in China" lol.

I've bought 2 rolexes and one JLC from "my" AD over the course of 4 years, and he has no idea who I am when I walk in there. ah well, at least he sells for MSRP no tax for cash on Rolex. I got 20% off on the JLC, a discontinued Master Control. But to answer your question, NO, NO GIFTS.
