Changing Rolex dial on a Datejust
is it worth the extra $600 they asking ? Thinking about changing it to a Tuxedo dial from a rhodium Roman numeral.

$600 seems reasonable if it’s done thru RSC. From tuxedo to roman dial, you would need the dial itself, the appropriate hands associated with roman dial (ie hands without the lume), and the black calendar dates. Tuxedo uses the roulette dates, i think. Plus they would do a simple regulated check i assume.
It’s cheaper than buying another one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I am changing from rhodium with Roman numeral to a Tuxedo dial. The price is included dial/hand plus about $100 for a roulette date wheel. But I won’t be getting my old dial back.

Heck no. Find the dial and hands you want on bay. Take everything to a decent local watchmaker and they’ll charge $50-75. You’ll also get your old stuff back which has real value.
