I wouldn’t pay that mark up either, but I wouldn’t make the same comment about the SS Pepsi. There may be a valid reason for someone to pay above MSRP for that reference.....for example, they want it very badly and don’t want to wait potentially years for it. With the CHNR, there’s no reason to pay over MSRP because no TT Rolex will remain hard to get for long. One just needs to have a bit of persistence and possibly a little patience. Maybe not even that if their timing is good.

I disagree. The CHNR is a completely new GMT reference and the first time Everose was ever used for a GMT with a new case and movement. Its in completely new territory for a GMT so it won’t be any easier to find at dealers as there are long waiting list for it. I have been watching the CHNR since it’s introduction with our trusted sellers and it’s market prices.
The trusted sellers have had more BLRO in stock than CHNR and both are Baselworld 2018 watches.
I have been watching the momentum grow steadily for the CHNR so all bets are off to what it does. This is interesting considering Rolex promoted mainly the BLRO at Baselworld giving it a huge head start advantage.
