Out of my three Rolex watches, which includes a BLNR like you, the BLRO is by far the most comfortable watch I own.
When it first came out, I wasn’t sold on the jubilee, although I had owned a TT Datejust with jubilee. Obviously tastes vary and tastes evolve and change. However, I now could not imagine not having the BLRO and will probably die with it on wrist, out of all my watches. In fact, wearing today, again from yesterday and day before.

I’m still very much on the fence with the BLRO even after seeing it in the metal. Not sure if the combination of a jubilee bracelet and bright and busier bezel would work for me.

I love the BLRO !
I have tried it and and looked closely at it. To me, the watch just works and would totally complement my collection and, date I say it, even "complete" my collection? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm also on the flip side of the OP.
When it came out I didn't much like the colours and I thought it looked wrong on the Jubilee. I would prefer to have one on an Oyster bracelet (without paying for the YG version) but then again, all my Rolex are on Oysters so the Jubilee is starting to appeal more than it did. I now find that I like it rather a lot. If I could get one at MSRP or at least get onto a real wait list, I would. I continue to ask my AD at regular intervals. Ideally I'd like a SS Coke on a Oyster but if that ever happens I expect the madness over the 2018 BLRO will look like a half heated rehearsal. |

Interesting I guess beauty is in eye of beholder then. Coke would not be something I'd go for but that's just me. My wallet thanks me LOL! But I guess only time will tell if and when it's released Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, I agree with you about beauty being in the eye of the beholder. I’m just guessing a new Coke would be wildly popular.

I thought a lot of stupid things before seeing it in person: julbilee make it to jewel, too precious, blue of the bezel is purple violet......bullshit bullshit bulshit
It simply crash Batman all day: pepsi is perfect rolex even more than ceramic daytona. Since I got it I didn't remove from my wrist and jubilee make it simply perfect |

I think the WIS and fan world would go bonkers for a SS ceramic Coke. Of course, I don't know that for certain.
Although the ceramic Pepsi colours have grown on me, I prefer the vintage hues of red and blue, red in particular. The reality is, they are what they are. I still like them enough to want a ceramic Pepsi in SS. I think, but again I do not know, that ceramic red and black will contrast better and make the red look more, well, red. I have a Tag Aquaracer GMT Pepsi. The colours are particularly nice, having that metallic look that you get when you put paint on aluminium. It's brutally over designed. They just didn't know when to stop designing it. I love it, it's cheap and cheerful (comparatively) and it's got presence. But it won't cure my lust for the GMT Master. I've got the Rolex illness. It's the 6 digit strain of the disease which seems to have got me. |

I think it looks great, but I'd get a brushed oyster bracelet with glidelock for the perfect combo.

It was a pre-owned piece that was unspoken for. My SA asked me if I liked it and I replied yes. Then he asked do you like it for 17k and I said nope. I liked everything about it but it gave me the same feeling as when I first tried on the BLNR. IMO, my BLNR is just as nice so I would definitely buy at MSRP but I don’t get the hype.

Unfortunately for us in Canada the TT CHNR comes out at nearly 17K with our weak dollar.

I was on the fence initially about the BLRO. Some of the recent incomings over the last few weeks had started to change my mind. But even until last week, when I was offered the BLRO from my AD, I still wasn’t sure. Until I received it last week.
It’s stunning. The jubilee bracelet goes perfectly with the blue and red bezel. And it’s obscenely comfortable. More beautiful than in pictures, in my opinion. I couldn’t be happier with my SS BLRO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
