What model is my watch?

Newbie here, so go easy on me :) I cant remember the model number of my watch. Oyster Perpetual Datejust with a Jubilee band. Bought it in 1995 and it is supposedly a late 80's model. I need to order a link for the bracelet, obviously the bracelet is shrinking because I definitely haven't gained any weight in the last 23 years, and I don't know where to start. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated...

I agree and also, the crystal looks like it's acrylic. Watch is older than the 1980's.

The bracelet is reference number 62513. Links for this are readily available used or a helpful authorized dealer can order new ones for you.

My 15053 was purchased new in 1988 and it has an acrylic crystal.

Yes, I realize that some Rolex models had an acrylic crystal into the 1980's but the combination of features on the OP's watch makes it 1977-1978 at latest.
