Welcome. LOL about the link squeak question. I've been wearing mine everyday for a little over a month now, and until I read this question, I forgot about this issue. No worries...mine did the same thing (I assumed it was due to the tight tolerances of the metal in the bracelet). Within a few weeks of constant wear, the squeaking went away...no worries, I'm sure yours will do the same. Cheers.

Welcome and congrats on "the Big one". I've had new bracelets squeek a bit at first. Just new. Give it some time to break in and all will be fine. The booklet goes into great detail about the workings of the glidelock. Look on the center of the clasp where the fliplock goes over. Pull up on the center. It will pop up. Just slide the links out to the position you like and push the center of the clasp back down. You're good to go. |

Thanks, the booklet is yet to arrive. And to you too Moby 33, got it. Seems some simple question elsewhere causes some concerns for some TRF reads right for a long time, talks right for even longer. Keep it up.. |

Nice review. It looks great on you.
Out of curiosity, did you at first not like the DSSD or have you wanted one since its release?

I have a 14060m and a explorerII, I am concerned with the size, will I ever wear my sub again after getting used to the dssd's size?

At some point after I "recover" I'd like to "go back in time" and add a vintage example to complete the trio. |

Thanks again guys. Just resized it. Pretty straightforward expect for the usual one stubborn screw. Two end links. Fits exactly as my SD. Fractionally loose on an off-gym day, perfectly tigher on an on one. This is with the glide lock completely in. Last question is. Is the idea to utlise the glide lock? I'm thinking of taking one more link out and using the glide lock. At the moment after about 20 minutes wearing it on a loose day, it might be a bit too loose as its obviously bigger than SD. Not sure yet. Do either of you have 7.5 " wrists, if so what set up have you got for the watch?
Pleased to say did the big dishwasher test, removing glass from under the granite counter. Really feels the same as the SD no real need to move about even more cautiously. I suspect if you got your SD clearances ingrained, the few more millimeters of the Deep Sea will be as naturally fine. WOW. What a watch. I keep looking at the time. |
