Really? If you question it then there is your answer. To my eye it looks perfect but you're the one who has to wear it and look at your wrist.

Not too small at all. I look down at my 40mm SubC and think, “Does this look small?” “Could I pull off a 43mm Sea Dweller?” But then I catch a look in a mirror or a pic and it’s clear 40mm is darn near perfect.

People wear very large watches these days. I find the look very awkward and think that the way the 40mm fits your wrist is the way a watch should lay on your wrist. I see pictures every day where you can't even be sure if it's on a strap or bracelet because all you see is a case covering the entire wrist and the strap or bracelet juts down at 90 degrees like its swerving to avoid an opossum in the road or something.
Whoever came up with the notion that as long as the lugs don't overhang your wrist it's fine was clearly an Invicta shareholder. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

Think it looks fine but let me know if you want to unload it, I would love one of these for the right price.

I think it looks good. But 42mm would look good too.

Looks fine, and I wouldn't go bigger. But you've got to ask yourself, are you old fashioned and/or ahead of the curve; or are you quite satisfied with modern taste?

It's hard to gauge from just one picture, but is it "too small"?; certainly not, since it's really all subjective. The Exp II 16570 has a vintage vibe, which gives it a free pass to be a little smaller too. That said, with an 8" wrist a new Exp II would probably feel more "right", and you'd have the benefit of an upgraded bracelet as well. I personally find the aesthetics of the 16570 to be much nicer, which is why I'm trying to track a good one down, but I've got a round/bony 7.5" wrist, which matches well with a 40mm watch.

Looks like a 31 mm on my wife’s wrist.
Looks OK, but a larger watch would look good too. |

I hear this phrase a lot on this forum.
How about if someone is just undecided despite the watch actually looking totally fine. They may be used to just wearing larger or smaller watches and to them, subjectively, it seems too small or large in comparison. In this instance, OP, the watch looks perfect for your wrist. |
