Visible dial sizes

All the measurements I have read about the larger watches relate to the case size. The SD43 went to a 43 mm case, but does the watch actually have a bigger dial compared to the 40 mm submariner? Same for the 44 mm DSSD.

I read that Rolex added 1 mm longer hands to the 2018 update to the DSSD.

So which watch has the most visible dial real estate?

Thanks,

Ken

My thoughts would be the YM2

Larger case than EXP2 but only slightly thicker bezel

Here's an older diagram, which doesn't include the new SD, but it still gives you some idea.

Hmm...let's see. I'm going to just take a wild stab and say the Sky-Dweller.

HINT: See post #4.

Sorry, a little late, but thanks for the picture of the dials. That helps.

From my observation between the SD43 and SubC the dials are the same size, but the SD43 has a 1mm larger diameter crystal
