GMT BLRO Pepsi

i remember a few months ago seeing a picture of one was rare. Yet alone being able to purchase one. Looking toward today what a different story.

is it me or are more and more of them showing up for sale? i hope they keep pumping them out. Wonder what if any changes to sport watches will have in store for 2019.

You mean on the gray market? They’re out there but try getting one at msrp. As far as I knew, the gray route has always been an option.

I walked into a random AD 2 weeks ago, and they said they had just received their holiday supply of watches. He had a couple of PM Subs, one SS Sub Date, a couple of YM’s and this baby.

Unfortunately it was already sold. He said it was his first one; relatively small AD. I wish I hadn’t tried it on. I loved it, but I refuse to pay above retail for one. My Daytona in the background was bought at retail on a random visit to an AD, but no luck with the BLRO.

I sincerely hope that all of you are able to get one at MSRP like I did. All enthusiasts who want to wear one and admire the watch oughta be able to get one, like it was in the beginning.

You were able to walk into a random AD, and find a SS Daytona that wasn't spoken for?! That's incredibly lucky. Do you mind if I ask where?

I've observed the grey prices coming down a bit ($1-2K), still well above MSRP

Around 18 months ago in Cancun.

The BLRO was located in northwestern US.

You need to play the lottery! Walk in out of the blue and buy 500C Daytona, then walk into BLRO (even if sold). I would call that amazing!

Good on you!

Before my Rolex days, back when I couldn’t really afford one, I walked into AD in Guam (on a Navy trip) and they had a Sub LV (Kermit) for $4,350. Called my wife (family CFO) and she said “no”. Didn’t buy it, but I should have. I mean how long could she be mad?
