I love cask strength whiskeys! I'll need to try it with water next time.

What kind of whiskeys do you normally like?

I’m more of a rye or bourbon guy, but I’m really starting to get into more of the Islay scotch whiskies. Current favorites are Booker’s Bourbon Kathleen’s Batch, Ardbeg Corryvreckan, and Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye.

Bookers is always a great bourbon! How's knob Creek rye? I've thought about purchasing it, but it's about $100 here.

I'm starting to get more into Irish and Canadian whiskeys, they're fantastic! I'm finding scotch too hard to get into, too many choices.

For tonight I've had some little book and now I'm having some lot 40 11 year cask strength rye, it's so good!

Oof. Not worth $100. The cask strength is around $65 where I live and I’d say that’s about what it’s worth. Getting pretty tired of the price gouging going on with whiskeys right now.

I agree its getting out of hand. A part of me wants to move onto something else that isn't too expensive, but rums and tequilas are getting up there too. I'll need to check our that rye cask strength if it goes on sale here.

I can't believe it's almost 2019! I'm going to have some bourbon to start the celebration :)

I saw the top one at Costco but didn’t know about it.

Bought the McCallan (sp) 12 year and the Glenfiddich

I’m just learning about these high end bottles
