JLC acceptable accuracy?

I'm considering picking up either a Master Control Date or a Reverso Small Seconds but can't find any information regarding what JLC considers acceptable- their 'Master Control 1000 Hour' sounds impressive but nowhere do they mention actually testing the accuracy of the watch nor making any guarantees.

I called JLC, and they said the acceptable tolerance varies by watch. On the Reverso I'm looking at, the representative stated a tolerance of +5/-2 seconds per day, and claimed that information is in the operation manual included with the watch at purchase.

Has anyone with a JLC found a tolerance stated in their operation manual?

My reverso does not have a second hand so I don’t know how anybody can verify their claim of +5 -2 per day.
