Ever buy the same watch twice?

Welp I couldn’t resist. I missed my sub no date too much. Since the day I traded it for the gold sub I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. Now I will keep both in the collection!

Ps- Thank you Davidsw and Trf!

Oh yeah...all the time. Don't ask me about the LV-C. Please.

I'm getting better though.

No, not yet. I hope to be able to buy 2 watches like you have there though someday. You have the perfect duo! The 116618LB is my grail and the SS ND Sub is a classic, perfect for a daily too.

Not exactly but close. Sold a mk1 39mm Explorer I when the forum got inside my brain about the T-Rex short hands, but missed it's low key versatility and bought a mk2 that I wear more than anything on the collection.

Yes bought and sold Sub LV, then Sub LV, then LVc (at which time I had both, then sold both), then LVc again. Want it back! I’m stupid.

The only watch I’ve ever re-bought was the 16710. Sometimes you’ve just got to rectify a mistake and nothing wrong with that.

I've bought the Deepsea three times. Last time's a charm. It's a keeper now.
Congrats on your new purchase, that pair complements each other very well.

Famous last words....

I’m going to note every time someone says any iteration of “this time it’s a keeper” in this thread and follow up in a year.

No judgement here though. I am as guilty of this as anyone....

Well this time it's historically connected to family events. This one has made sentimental connections so letting it go is off the table plus my wife would absolutely kick my ass, lols.
I went through a lot of watches in the past so now I have a policy that I only buy to keep.

I really love the damn thing, and every time I let it go I missed it. It really does well as part of a rotation although today it's my daily.
