I have a 6.5” wrist and bought this reference today. I started another thread in which I posted a (near) full-length photo if you’re interested in visualising. It fits absolutely perfectly and the lugs are nowhere near as broad as my wrist. Also, the lugs are contoured in such a way as to make it wear a bit smaller than 43mm, at least to me. I owned a 42” PO too and the SD43 looks far more well proportioned on me than the Omega did.

Thanks all! Took it for a spin last night out on the town and it just feels so good on the wrist. I love my DaytonaC to death, but wow does this feel like a solid watch. I’ll definitely take the extension off based on folks’ advice.

Looks like an Mk1. Nice get, op.

I’m really wondering what gives here because we’re in 2019 and that 2017 dial is still rolling in. What’s the angle here? This is not to begrudge the watch. I just wonder why they have two contemporaneous dial variations. So much for the anniversary dial I suppose ...

Thanks...How can you know if it’s the Mk1 dial? I love the watch and have zero interest in flipping it, but curious nonetheless. Does seem odd that Rolex would be producing two variants of the same reference so close to one another, even if the differences are minor.

Also for anyone looking at a purchase, I have a pretty average size wrist and while it’s definitely a big watch, it certainly doesn’t look at all awkward. I’m alternating with the Daytona now and both look and feel great despite the size disparity.

For those in London, there are a few shops in Burlington Arcade that have them, so I stopped in once for a chat and a sizing just to make sure it fit. Of course the prices there are insane, like £12k and up, so I’d never buy there, but good if you want to see the watch in person.
