Icon14 Discounts on Grand Seiko

Hey... first time looking at Grand Seiko... and completely unaware of the market... what sort of discounts should be expected for SBGA373G and SBGR311G from ADs? And how about grey dealers?

I never EXPECT a discount, however, up to 15% is not unheard of....depending on the model.

I don't know what discount would be offered in the US, I wouldn't expect any, but would always ask 20%, any discount after that, is a bonus.

In Ontario, getting the watch at msrp and no tax is good IMO- saving 13% on total cost.

Come to Taiwan or HK to buy GS, pretty much 20% + off at least, but only if while you are in town though. I am not sure after flying and lodging it would be worth it if you came specifically to buy GS.

Bic Camera in Japan offers approx 20 - 25 % off the bat if you pay with Visa or AMEX. In addition you can claim tourist tax , but must have passport with you at the moment of purchase.
