I hope you didn’t overpay. It’s not an AP.

Is this the actual watch they had photos of in the listing which you bought ?

Yes return it. Compare your photos to the genuine movement. It’s not even close.

I certainly don’t support the OP making this purchase, but at the same time isn’t it a bit scary how good these things look?

If you don’t know what the movement looks like I’m sure many can and have made this mistake.

I guess one always has to be wary of purchasing from an unknown 3rd party and do some research into the seller and the product.

Just looked at the listing. They had pretty good pictures of the movement, can't believe that didn't get flagged. Everything with the seller looks fishy, says they are haute horologist in the AP listing and a watch collector in the hulk listing on prior feedback. No other feedback on watches. You should put them up in the beware.

Why wouldn’t anyone do some research on the product they are looking to purchase before spending this amount of money. IMO, the fake is not that good of quality. The dial has many tells, not to mention the hideous movement.

That’s not a good fake by any stretch of the imagination. The dial is the bigger tell than the movement

I just showed my wife the two pix without comment and asked her what she thought.

She glanced at the pix and said ‘are you joking, that’s awful’.

Had exactly the same response from mine.

I had a quick flick through the website in question earlier (never normally visit the site) and was very surprised at the amount of counterfeits on offer.

Can only echo other comments. The dial is all completely wrong and as someone else has pointed out the back is not even close.
Not real for sure.....

Just curious but did you pay via PayPal? I’m hoping the seller didn’t try and convince you to pay via wire or outside of eBay. If you used PayPal you should be contacting them immediately and gather some pictures of real/fake movement to support your claim.
