DSSD on Rubber B

Hi All,

I have my DSSD 116660 for about eight months now. I was contemplating to put this watch on Rubber B for as long as I have the watch. And finally I pull the trigger and bough one from one of TRF member here on classified section.
I've got Rubber B on Friday and installed it same day. To make long story short, the watch wears a lot comfortable with Rubber B. For me it's like day-and-night. It's now so comfortable that I can compare it with my other 40mm Rolex sport watches.

Love the Deepsea on Rubber B. The release for the new one cannot get here soon enough.

One of the few Rolexes I think looks good on rubber strap.

Funny thing is. I decided to see my wife's reaction. I showed her a watch right after changing bracelet to Rubber B strap and said I purchased a new watch. To my surprise (or not so) she replied: "Oh so nice watch! I glad you bought it". And that would be my fourth watch in 8 months

Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't put rubber or any other straps instead of original Rolex bracelet on any other Rolex watches, only on DSSD watches.

I usually don't go in for changing the bracelet on any of the Rolex references, but the DSSD just pops with a RubberB. Rolex should Oysterflex that bad boy. Great pics of the watch too.

The flared end of the strap allows for a flush integration of the lugs. It looks perfect. I wish they followed the same design with other models like the SD43.

yes, this design fits very well on the deep sea, dont know why rubber b didnt adopt the same design on the sd43 and submariners.

I thinks it the flare is awesome in design but from what I've seen its more about functionality and stabilizing the heavy case. The SD43 case is not as massive and thick as the Deepsea, probably the reason its only available for that watch only?
