How often do suggest replacing spring bars to reduce the risk of failure?

Honestly every couple years at least. Most guys wait until they fail. Then they blame it on something else. Another factor is how much do you change your strap. I change mine all the time so most of watches (if i keep them this long) get new spring bars about every 6 months.

Just sharing the wealth. Heck I have made so many mistakes in the 15 years I have been seriously buying/collecting watches I just want to elevate some of the issues for others. It can be overwhelming sometimes.

Heck trying to find out the correct size spring bars for watches can be a huge burden. Considering most watch manufactures can't tell you.
