BMW X5 - Reliability Issues?

I’m looking at buying the new 2019 X5 which consumer reports rates as one of the top SUV’s they’ve ever tested by BMW and in general. As an avid follower of their reliability ratings and my own experience of owning two 328’s, anyone have major issues owning previous X5’s? My 328’s had average reliability which is in line with CR ratings but nothing like the high reliability of my current Lexus RX350.

I’d be interested in hearing owners thoughts on this one.

My wife had one many years ago. After 90,000 miles it turned into a pumpkin and everything started going. Now those may say well it had 90,000 miles and that’s to be expected. Nah, don’t buy it. I had a Hyundai years back, 100,000 and no issues and I mean zero. My current VW has 90,000 and almost only a minor issue. My old Mercedes ml had 135,000+ before I traded it and other than random lights coming on now and again- no issues.
