they are just display so maybe the directors own them no idea, just know you can't buy those ones. Its not a LE. Its a Harrods exclusive edition with an unknown and not limited production run. They clarified that when i asked.

Its a nice watch and i prefer the fact its not a LE as its nice to get a watch after a month and a half after asking so they cleared the WL really fast

I got on the list in November and got the call in January. With all of the requirements and deadline to pick up the watch, I’m sure people fall off the list rather quickly.

Well it might be semantics but it is either a limited edition or special edition (same thing in my opinion) as they are numbered and production will cease at some point. On the case back it says special edition IIRC. I’ve owned omega LE’s that are up to 6000 so these are materially (albeit currently) significantly below that.

initially at launch there was a lot of info on it being a LE of 200... which turned out to be not the case. Tudor numbers other watches too. No idea why as it doesnt appear to be capped so i look at it similar to a serial number. The number of a non LE doesn't mean anything to me

Its made for Harrods so they are the only ones who sell it, so thats cool because you can't just buy it at any AD. That makes it more exclusive for sure and i guess harder to get if you dont come to london

Personally i just like the green so that fact its harrods color and they are the retailer is secondary for me

True! Fortunately I have a friend that lives there and he was kind enough to pick it up for me!

Any tips on the cheapest way for a Canadian to get his hands on the harrods BB?

Will they put you on the list without visiting the store? Obviously I know I'd have to fly there to pick it up but my wife and I are planning a trip to the UK in 2020 anyway. If I could order one 4-6 months before going, then collect it when I get there, that'd be super.

7 day payment AND collection timeframe from when it arrives. They won't ship

Im pretty sure they will add you to the list via phone though. Its collection that is tricky

Thanks for the info. I'll have to call them when we start nailing down plans for our visit then and get the exact details. I would absolutely love to get one of these in store while I'm there. Already told the wife we'd get her a nice LV purse when we go to Paris (planning to do a quick Eurostar trip over while there). Something more special about buying it there vs one of the 12 stores in Las Vegas or something.

if you are coming to London or Paris... go to Goyard. Thank me later

way more exclusive as they are not everywhere, quality IMO is better although its more of a subjective thing, priced similarly, they only sell in their stores and there is only a handful no online e commerce. You can't walk 10 steps down the street without seeing someone with LV

I believe original plan was for 200 models to me made. The interest in this reference increased the numbers manufactured and I dont believe at this time any decision has been made as to when / if they will stop making it. Got a relatively early serial number on mine (3xx) and am really happy with it, wouldnt flip for a penny less than £6k LOL

it is a "special edition" special to harrods only . I think the production run was more subject to demand. Might as well sell as many as you can.

initial buzz/rumors at the time was that it was 200. Obviously that was wrong.
