Rolex Hands and Markers (16710)
Hello fellow enthusiasts! I am very curious if anyone has any information pertaining to the materials Rolex used for the hands and hour markers for 16710 models. I have always thought Rolex used white gold but I have seen so many photos of 16710's from reputable pre-owned sellers that have what looks to be yellow gold hands and hour markers. Is the use of yellow gold for hands and hour marker on stainless steel 16710's from Rolex Factory? Any info would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.

White gold can patina with age. That's likely what is happening. There are very few SS Rolex watches with yellow gold hands, the old manual wind 6694s are the only ones I'm aware of.
