Coke GMT Basel 2020?

Rolex has redefined the GMT lineup. SS GMT models are now available only on the Jubilee bracelet. By doing so, Rolex is now able to offer the same bezel for both a SS and PM watch but still distinguish between the two via the bracelet. This seems to clear the path for the introduction of a Coke GMT. No longer a question about whether the Coke will be released in PM or in SS. Rolex can release it in both. I predict we will see a WG Coke on Oyster Bracelet and a SS Coke on Jubilee next year.

I suppose they bring back the TT/YG versions before releasing a Coke reference.

Don’t foresee a new come for a long while! They would be competing with their own lineup!

I was thinking the RONR would replace the BLRO as the WG offering. I don’t think there’s any room for it now in the lineup. I think Rolex is waiting I took the can perfect cherry red bezels

I think the GMT line is complete for a while. I had hoped for Coke instead of Pepsi but I think that ship has sailed.

I don't expect the PM and SS to be released simultaneously, but I would not be surprised to see a Coke in the next two years - or less. The PM version will be too expensive for me
to justify and the SS will be wait listed into my next life. But at least I'll be able to drool over the photographs.

At this point with updated BLNR SS and very recent Pepsi SS and new WG and the Root beer in TT and RG....I do not expect to see Coke for another 5-10 years

I can see Root beer TT on a jubilee in a couple years but thats it.

As much as I'd like to see a new coke GMT, I think all of these Basel predictions are wishful thinking. I'd rather believe the local weatherman's report than Basel predictions (RPR excluded, lol)

First of all, you've got to understand Rolex doesn't have the same priorities we do.

Take the BLNR on jubilee introduction. Savvy move on their part. People will go nuts for it and they will sell a jillion of them. Many others will hate it and covet the old oyster bracelet look. Those will sell in the jillions as well, b/c of the "collector's" aspect of the watch.

So, if Rolex thinks they can get that play by rolling out a Coke, they will. I don't think they would, and apparently, they don't either.

i think the reality is that hans wilsdorf left about 30 sketches of unreleased watches when he passed. slowly milking them is quite rewarding thus far.

But for the GMT I prefer Pepsi over Coke by a mile!

Is it true the new pepsi models, lets say produced as of today, have more darker red color in the bezel? Original pinkish color is ..... :(

I agree. I know nothing, but I think three bi-color inserts in production at a time is enough. 4 could be overwhelming.
