Buying 2019 datejust
I have never purchased a new Rolex. All of my Rolex watches have been bought CPO at Tourneau. I really like the new 2019 datejust, but lately all I have read is how difficult it is to obtain a new watch through an AD. I plan on reaching out to my AD about buying the new datejust. Should I anticipate a waiting list for this watch, I always thought this model was a lot less desirable than their sport watches. I have a 8 year history with my local Tourneau and I anticipate they could help, but am I being delusional? I have read so many negative posts on AD inventory.

DJ36 should be fine, I wouldn't expect a wait list for these.

From what I’ve seen, AD’s can order datejusts if they are not in inventory. Should not be an issue getting these from any AD.
A couple of the popular models may require a special order but shouldn’t take too long. (Blue fluted dial is popular these days). |

Anything but the fluted, blue dial can be attained without too much hassle. That one though looks like the Sky-Dweller and people are snapping them up because of no availability.

You shouldn’t have an issue obtaining that. Great choice by the way.
