Grand Seiko Snowflake

I just wanted to know your thoughts on the snowflake? Are they hard to come by at a Seiko AD?

My wife bought one in November and that AD has yet to replace it. They want one badly. Orlando Watch Company had one when I was there last.

You can definitely find one. Take a look at this preowned from davidsw. Probably won’t get much if any discount from AD.

I wonder if it’s too light in weight being Titanium.

I’ve heard some great things about the Snowflake. The innovation behind the spring drive. That fascia is 10/10 and on social media you get to see how that second hand sweeps. That said I’m still researching as when I buy a watch I aim to not let it go, and if I have to it is so I can trade up. My local showroom has about three in stock and I’m mesmerised each time I walk by

I love the snowflake but did not like the titanium bracelet with no microadjustment so I switched my snowflake to a strap.

I’d go to a strap too, IF I could find a nice one with curved ends.

Tricky part is finding strap that is 20mm at Watch and 16mm at buckle if trying to use gs deployant

What strap/deployant clasp is that?

Those are desirable to most.

Deployant is straight from GS. I found a strap that was 20mm/16mm at bucket from keepiece watch straps. Shipped quick from Australia.

I think easy to find. I called two boutiques, NYC and maybe Florida, they both had 'em. Then I went to ebay and liked an offer and made the move. Got it on friday and really loving it. Call around, you may find a guy who discounts it...
