Lurker, now member, from North NJ
Hi all, I’ve only owned a few watches, but have had an interest since my first automatic Movado in college. Currently, I’ve only held onto an IWC Fleigerchronograph from 2006. First “real watch” love and purchase, so it’s a forever watch.
Someday hope to own an AP Royal Oak and a Vacheron Constantin 49140 Overseas Chronograph. The first, my boss had me pick up for him at Christie’s, when I was a lowly analyst. It was worth more than the bonus I received that year. The second, I fell in love with because of the bezel...eye of the beholder... then when I learned more, I was even more fascinated. Anyway, wife, kids, cars, house renovations, have happened and finally wanting an education and resource on watches. So here I am! |

Thanks all! I'm going from having purchased new in the past, to now looking at used and hoping to maybe experience a few year. I've seen a few guys trade through on the car forums I frequent, and is seems fun.
