Deep inside you know which one you like better and that's what you should listen. But if it were me I'd get the stainless Daytona. It's an amazing watch

Don'y buy a Daytona C just to do it. Take a step back from the hype and try to look at it for what it actually is. With that said a white 116500LN will be my next piece but I wouldn't give up my BLNR to get it. If you can shake it, add the Daytona and if you end up not liking it you're not going to lose money on it.

For me, they Daytona wins in this comparison hands down by a wide margin. TT watches just aren’t my thing, even though the sunburst dial is truly gorgeous
As others have said, buy what you like. You sound to really like the bluesy, so maybe it’s a good idea to just stick with it. Is owning both not an option? they are very different and could make a good pair. Regarding the Daytona, if you’re not going to keep it, don’t buy it. You risk your AD relationship by flipping it and they aren’t likely to sell you a second one down the road if you decided you did want one at a later time. If I were in your shoes, I’d buy they Daytona and never look back

Daytona. But I can see why people say its hard to see the time. For me its not hard at all, may take me a second more to read the time. Its a beauty though, well worth it. Waiting for the white dial now.

I preferred the Daytona over my Submariner Date TT until I tried a 116500 on at a gtg at my AD one night. Wore too small for my tastes. Also, for some reason, I wasn't a fan of the ceramic bezel. I think I like them better as an insert, not just a stand-alone. The extra rim of metal around the outside is better looking IMO.
If it were me, I'd keep the TT. But as stated, it is best to just wear what you like, regardless of price. You'll enjoy it more not thinking of it as money made or lost. |

I own both in 5 digit series... If I can only keep one, it would be the Daytona. But i absolutely adores the Bluesy. Its easily one of the most striking watch that Rolex makes.

If you are undecided, get the Daytona at MSRP and keep the Sub. Find a way to make that happen.

My .02 - The bluesy is an awesome watch, I have always loved sunburst dials and the extra heft of the bigger, thicker case. Daytonas are gorgeous although difficult to read at times and wear a bit smaller than many other professional models. Go with your heart. It doesn't sound like current trends and ability to flip for profit are a focus for you. For that, I applaud you. Go with what you love! |

Unlike most on here I like a touch of gold. I do not understand those on this forum that only want stainless steel.

Bluesy and Black dial Daytona are my two holy grail! Hard decision I think the Bluesy is absolutely stunning!

Which Daytona? If it’s the new ceramic at MSRP then I would take that easily. If it’s the 116520 then I really like the Black dial. All depends on pax though as they are a bit rich right now. I love the Bluesy but am more partial to the all gold version. I’m just not a big fan of TTbfr the most part. HOWEVER...of all the TT watches in the world the Bluesy May be the best executed one of all.

If you plan to own both, I'd go for Daytona if you can get one for MSRP even if it means getting rid of Bluesy, which is more beautiful in my opinion. Buying it back will be easier in the future than waiting for another opportunity to get a Daytona at MSRP.
If you do not plan on owning them both and it's one or the other, then the answer is really simple. You already own something and you think it's stunning, so why buy Daytona just because it's hard to get. |

You could sell Bluesy now, buy the Daytona, and re-acquire later. The opportunity to buy a ceramic Daytona at MSRP is nearly impossible whereas the Bluesy is relatively easy to find.
As for me, I’m partial to the Bluesy. Two years of ownership and I am still mesmerized by its beauty! |

I’d take the Daytona but as others have said - you gotta wear it!

Wear what makes you happy.
That being said, I will say that you should strongly consider the SS Daytona given how difficult the watch is to buy at retail from an AD. You could always go back and get a new TT Sub if the Daytona doesn't sing to you. |
