Ballpark DRSD Value Question??

Just got a quick question for you all. I would like to know if anyone has a ballpark estimate of what my DRSD would be worth. NO.... I'm not going to sell it because it means a lot more to me then $$ but it would be cool to know about what its worth. There are some very detail shots throughout the post listed below. I can also post up other info as well if needed.

On the same note because I'm sure its worth a pretty penny whats the best way of getting it insured?

Also would it be worth more if it was owned by someone famous and there were pictures of that person wearing it from the late 70s/early 80s?

Again I NEVER plan on selling it EVER, but would at least like to know exactly what the deal really is. The internet is full of prices ranging from $25,000 - $200,000 (though I think that was a "patent pending" one) so I have no idea what I'm dealing with. Please educate me.

Thanks!!!

The gap between the cheapest and the most is huge. You only have to take into consideration of how much one person is going to pay for the watch. You can get a good ballpark by browsing certain auction houses. I would say complete sets such as box and papers would be on the high end side but a mint to excellent condition on can still fetch you thousands.

Good luck!

Thanks, no box or papers, just the invoice from the recent work Bob did to it. That's what I've been trying to do but I don't see many MK4s around mostly the MK/IIIs. Guess I'll keep searching. Thx
