i wouldn't care about the watch being polished unless it was destroyed by an amateur.
16710T (aka no holes cases) were made from late Ys / 2002 to Vs 2008). You have F, D, Z and M in-between Y and V. So for full set 16710T models (3185) , expect to pay $11k to 15k for full sets. Ms sell for slightly more than Zs, Zs sell for slightly more than Ds, etc... Slight price fluctuation for bezel insert color on complete sets (in fact, i see more of a price fluctuation based on inserts for incomplete sets). Regardless where you buy the watch from, expect to spend another $800 to $1,500 plus postage on the first service. Crowns could be worn, the clasp riveted link could be bad, crystal could have small chips, etc... Sad thing (as mentioned), these were going for $3k-$6k less 2.5 years ago. I picked up a used M-serial 166710LN (full set) in Feb. 2017 when 2002 to 2006 16710LNs were going for $500 less :( |
