1675 Blueberry By Mohammed-bin-Rashid Al Maktoum Military UAE

I don't believe it is against the forum rules to post links to auctions. If it is I apologize in advance and please remove. I figured for most of us the price realized will be out of are range. What do you estimate it will go for, or ballpark. Still has plenty of time left. 150,000 Euro is my guess.
I find it odd that the seller went this route instead of a big auction house, but I guess they will pay less in fees this way.
Thoughts?

hm, reading thru the paperwork (and in case of hands more than obvious) the dial and hands were to be replaced. it doesn't mean the owner went with the suggestions.
the paperwork also states the watch has been forcefully opened in the past (as in someone opened it who didn't know what they were doing)

still curious to see what it brings.

Crazy not to get someone to do an English translation to open it up to a wider audience (google translate always does some weird stuff). Interesting auction!

Well I guess if the hands were replaced and the case was opened by a novice then it could definitely affect the value.

My thoughts - my BS meter went to full tilt. It was nice of them to add the the all red hand that accentuates the UAE dial logo!!!

What kind of "blueberry" is on the watch? Looks like an ebay special.

This should be in the ebay watchout section.

Maybe the seller uses ebay because the big auction houses don't want to deal with the all blue bezel 1675s since there is no confirmed background or source for any of them.

Translation (Seller states the watch is from 1965):

Here you have the unique opportunity to buy something rare and rare, such an offer will not be found again!

Rolex Gmt Master 1675 Blueberry By Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Military

The clock was built for the Arab Airforce / Military, and was worn.
she is from the year 1965 and has the rare Blueberry bezel!

The Gmt was in service at Rolex, on papers everything is listed please read.

The badges, which can be seen on the pictures, also belong to the auction. The package is very rare they will not get a chance like that again. The last 1675 was sold for over 300,000 euros.

there is an extra band because the original band has a lot of play and the new band has the number 78360/580

More pictures on request and fun bidder listen to 101% of my lawyer and pays 25% off the purchase price if you have questions before buying !!! Renegotiation is not everything that should not fit with your purchase after the purchase is included with the purchase as mentioned before bidding!

Paypal payment is possible if the resulting fees are taken over!

So HRH was handing out watches when he was 15 years old?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamm...hid_Al_Maktoum

And even better: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Arab_Emirates

Interesting quote:
A 19 year old Emirati boy from Abu Dhabi, Abdullah Mohammed Al Maainah, designed the UAE flag in 1971. The main theme of four colors of flag was unity of Arabs nations. The Pan-Arab colors red, green, white, and black. It was adopted on 2 December 1971.
