It's a actually a great looking watch. However I wonder why so much fanfare, the Submariner 116613LN has been available in this exact configuration for years and no one blinked, don't even remember a recent incoming but this comes out and it's like incredible.
There are obvious visual differences such as lugs, gold Sea-Dweller, and matte dial but otherwise it's mostly a bigger version of the Sub. One thing about the Sub though is that it got a little criticism for the bezel writing being too yellow, while in the Sea-Dweller it does look more like a natural gold color. From a sizing standpoint I think I prefer the Sub but it would be nice to see this first. It took a minute but this watch is actually looking quite attractive. Rolex got me again. |

Is not a bigger SubC, no matter how much everybody sing that mantra, is a SeaDweller, a 1220m, HEV, Diver watch made by Rolex. Bigger, Stronger, different dial, name, features and price. (The SD always was similar to teh Sub, because is a Sub for saturation divers.

Interesting strategy from Rolex, slowly migrating all SS fans to TT

I wish Rolex would make a Bluesy SD43.
