Rolex 126600 - MK1 vs MK2 dials - Color difference?
I’m looking to buy a SD 43. Is there a color difference between the MK1 and MK2 dials? I know the MK2 dial has a Rolex coronet below the 6:00 hour marker, however I’m wondering if one is “matte” and the other is the black “gloss” finish (like the 116610 Submariner).
Thanks! |

afaik there is no color difference between the two dials
Both are "Black Gloss with Fine Satin Finish" (according to Rolex)

The MK1 white letter are BOLD and the MK2 are not.
I do not have a MK2 to compare in pictures but you can see in the next one the MK1 white letters are bold and the SubC are not. |
