My AD kept the tags last week, but didn’t say anything about them. I didn’t notice until I got back home.
Should I go back for them?

instead of trying to figure out how to limit the greys, all Rolex needs to do is allow the ADs to sell above/below the MSRP as supply and demand dictate. This would support the people they only allow that are selling their watches to profit but unfortunately, it will take the Greys out of business if that is what Rolex wants.
Another option is to make more watches to better match demand. Don't get me wrong, I own and support greys and glad they have created a market allowing people like us to get watches we want. As for keeping tags, warranty card, etc, is crap. I want the complete package on what I buy. Imagine buying a car without a manual for a year, or worse yet, what if something happens to me within that timeframe, do you think my estate will know to go get the tags, warranty cards, etc?

I'm not going to comment on the why, but I'll say this. Euros are clearly more ok with this keeping the card for a year thing. That would never fly here.

YES. They have definitely taken “some” fun out of buying a watch. It used to be that you could drool over a watch, then go save up till you had enough and then walk in and hand over money for the watch.
