It's Milgauss.
I have the GV...it is a great looking watch. Anyone that think any less...well it's their opinion. |

i bought mine 2 1/2 weeks ago i love it i love it, i chose between that and the LV sub which I already had but flipped it 2 years ago so i wanted something different for a change, I love it more then i ever loved my LV.. I never thought the milgauss was anything special until I bought the gv and saw it in person.. unbelievable.. Now i got 10% off my gv and was put at the top of the waiting list at my AD only because I bought a brand new 18k yellow gold DDII 2 weeks prior to buying the GV so my sales guy took care of me like he promised.. pull the trigger otherwise that watch will be gone in 1 more day...

I can't remember what I paid for mine, but think retail is $6550 and not $5500.
Its a really neat watch. Love mine, especially the crystal and the lightning bolt seconds hand. It will always be a difficult watch to find and is destined to be a true Rolex collectible. Marc |

I don't own one but I DO like them. The style is classic and understated. The price sounds very reasonable. I'd say go for it or it may be a long time before you have the opportunity again.

Great watch and a great price. Most "grey' dealers are still asking $1,000. over retail, or about $7500. for the GV. I got mine at list price and had to wait over 5 months for it. I'd say go for it.

I have heard there can be a lengthy wait for the GV series Milgauss. If you really like it, and have the cash go for it!

Your location on your profile is London. If you're in the US and you've been offerred it for £5500 then for the US market it's a great price. Lucky chapy.
HOWEVER you are paying over the odds for it if you are UK based as $5500 equates to £3950. UK rrp at old VAT 17.5% was only £3800 and that will drop to nearly £3710 at 15% vat . However if you are in the US it's a great price although you take the chance of customs here in London claiming vat and import duty. Personally i'd swerve and hope a UK AD comes up trumps. Sorry sharo, I know it's not what you want to hear.
