Swapping bracelets question
I've been interested in getting a Datejust as my first Rolex and found a possible trade deal, which would land me *almost* the watch I'm after. The one being offered to me in trade has a jubilee bracelet and I would like to swap on an oyster bracelet with the polished middle links.
Are there reliable places to source the oyster bracelet? I've done some on-line searches and haven't come up with much. I need to find out if this is cost-prohibitive to purchase. Or do you all recommend I be patient and wait for the *right* one to come along? That is, the one with the specs that I'm really after. Cheers. |

Remove the bracelet at home, take the watch to an AD and tell them you want to order an oyster bracelet. It will be that easy. Because you are not supplying the old bracelet you are not eligible for the lower exchange price, so you will be a 50% uplift. But this should still be cheaper than buying from a reseller/ebay.
