My Red is currently on the Corvus Bond strap. Really nice combo.

I have an email to Corvus asking them if their new batch of Bond NATO straps, which are described as, "thicker and more durable...This is really heavy stuff."
is thicker than the current Maratac NATO.

We'll see....not unless someone has both and could make a direct comparison.

BTW: their Horween shell cordovan leather straps look the bomb!!! This forum definitely has a way of keeping my wallet empty.

I got my Corvus back in May. It is of good quality but is -very- thin.

Thanks.

I just got an email back from Mike at Corvus, and he states that although thicker than his first run or straps (3 yrs ago), it may not be what I am looking for compared to other NATOs which are thicker.

I appreciate his honesty. He also said if I decided to order one and was not happy they had a full money back return policy.

I'm looking at Time Factors since many folks here seem to like their stuff.

I have to be honest..don't like the look of any of these. These cheap straps look fit for a $100 Timex, not $6000+ Subs. Visually devalue your watches with these straps.

That's the whole idea, the playful juxtaposition of a $6000 watch on a $10 strap

Actually it’s embedded in military diving history as well.

I’m friends with a Vietnam era Seal who was issued a Rolex milsub. Those were all fixed bar watches that could only be worn on nato.

To suggest it is somehow out of place could be seen as not valuing the history.

Try Watchgecko if you're in the UK.
They seem great to me and wearing on my Tudor BB (22mm) but have one for my SubC (20mm) and not worn it yet....

I'm not much of a nato guy but I've read many good comments about Toxicnatos. Good luck on your search.

1. Does anyone have any links to websites with good quality nato straps?(preferably that members have purchased from in the past)

2. Is it a 20mm strap that i need to buy ?

3. What sort of price range should i be looking at for a good quality one ?

Any other opinions on subs on nato straps would be useful too !

Thanks
Matt
Matt, the best natos I have ever tried (and I have tried many, maratec, Phoenix etc) are blushark. However, don’t buy their most expensive Alpha Variant as it is strangely pretty bad/dull. However, one rung down are called premium (its the mid priced version) 32$ which is truly exceptional with an amazing sheen, bright colors (silver bond is pretty amazing) and, very impressive indeed.

Yes, you need 20mm

Here’s my 5513 and Speedmaster on the premium bond
