Day-Date on NATO .. Pictures

Hello all,

I am thinking of putting my Day-Date on a NATO Strap.

My reason ... My DD is a model 118135 - Rose gold on brown leather strap with deployment clasp. The leather gets a bit “Grubby” quite quickly on the underside and wears nowhere near as well as a matching president bracelet.
I do have 2 extra sets of straps for my watch but as this will be a daily beater watch for me I just thought a Nato strap may be a good idea.

Has anyone done this and are there any pictures you can show me please.

1803. This is the "Cardinal" or "Red-Quarter" dial. It was stunning.

That is a lovely piece. The red gives it a nice little "pop." I don't like the look of NATOs on dressier watches. I don't think it does them justice. The only watch I own right now on a NATO is a cheap GL0076 that is my hiking/outdoors watch. I could see putting an AK, like an older 34mm variant, on a NATO, but I think anything with a fluted bezel, I'd hesitate...

Nope. Not a fan of a DD on nato.

TS, maybe you can try a perlon strap with DD. Definitely suits better than a nato..
