BLRO on Oyster?

I'm sure this has been discuss before but basically I want to know if anyone's successfully put an oem oyster bracelet on a BLRO? If so, how? If not, any ideas on whether if it can be done?

Yes, it can. Although in this case, I prefer the jubilee. So many oyster band Rolex to choose from. For me it's like putting a DD on a jubilee, why when the band is so unique to the model. But do as you like.

Yes. This is the 126710BLRO on a 97200 glide lock bracelet. Use the pins from the jubilee and this fits fine. Bracelet will cost $1500. Hard to find, IMO. As much as I loved the WG BLRO, I just wanted brushed center links, and I would not brush the WG center links. Seemed wrong to do. I bought and sold the 116719 WG BLRO twice.

This one works for me, as a better option, with what I like.

Does it really sit flush? Glidelock end links are for 2mm spring bars with 0.9mm pivots and blro pins are 1.5mm thick with 1.2mm pivots. I would be very wary how this setup holds in the long run. There can be some wiggle, which can result to unwanted wear & tear to the watch

I see your point. I like the look of the oyster and the comfort of the jubilee. Wish there was a way to get the best of both worlds.

So I actually like the polished center links of the Batman/Daytona. What serial number oyster bracelet would I need to get for that? Since Rolex won't sell me one, what's the second best place to get it?

It is part no. 78200 (Gmt-C, BLNR bracelet). Chrono24 has a brand new for 2500. I think you can order one from AD as well. At least I was told by an AD in Europe.

Thank you very much for the specifics. Would I need a pair of new pins? Or would the same ones suffice?

That’s the challenge. Like with 97200, you would need to use blro pins, that are too thin for the bracelet. You can put it in, but will it hold over time? I think somebody tried with 78200/97200 pins, but couldn’t lock in, might be wrong though.

Maybe after market pins like 1.8mm thick with 1.2mm pivots could work. It is possible that Rolex moved position of lug holes a bit to make swap more challenging

Good question! I’ll take a look and post some pics in a few days. Don’t have it with me. I’ll post comparison pics with both bracelets.
