FS: 1965 Rolex Explorer 1016 with Tropical Gilt Dial

Case / Bracelet: Excellent case that has recently been polished and shows very light wear from use. The smooth stainless bezel is also in excellent condition and shows very light wear from use. New brown leather strap.

Dial: Excellent glossy gilt dial that has aged to a beautiful tropical patina. The markers vary slightly in hue with the upper portion of the dial appearing slightly warmer. The Hour and second hand have aged to a creamy hue with the hour hand appearing much darker in tone. All lume glows brightly when exposed to UV and falls off rapidly at the same rate.
