Navitimer 8 Unitime versus Black Bay GMT

Hi all,

So, I’m looking for that next watch (I’d love to say last, but LOL!) and I’m trying to decide between the new Nav 8 Unitime and the BB GMT.

I originally started down this path because I needed something that could tell time in at least 3 time zones. It’s come up several times while traveling, so that’s the motivation. I originally settled on the BB GMT, but I wanted to see one in person to take a look at those slab sides. The regular BB looked thick on the wrist so I wanted to see if this was different. So far I haven’t been able to try it.

In one recon mission to see the BB GMT, I ran across the Breitling. I have to say that it looked great! I love the visibility and the world time function is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I hadn’t seen a worldtimer with that level of functionality since the IWC worldtimer, which is just too big.

The conundrum is that the BB is so much less expensive! I do generally abide by “get what you want or risk rebuying”, but I love that BB GMT in pics. Wish I could see it!

So, do I hold out for seeing the BB GMT? I could probably put myself on a list. Or, do I go for the Breitling?

Thanks!
