Both work great but I lean towards the warmer look of the brown strap against the gold case.

The brown is warmer looking with that dial. Black makes it too stark in my opinion.
On a side note, in my opinion, I'm not a fan of bands with contrasting stitching. Too sporty.

IMHO the brown straps looks made for that watch. If you desire strap switch-ups, the different tones and textures in the brown color family will give you much more options than black straps will.
